Fred Flintstone - The Flintstones
Frederic Joseph as known as Fred Flintstone is the main character of the Flintstones. He is the husband of Wilma Flintstone, the father of Pebbles Flintstone and the owner of a dinosaur who barks like a dog called Dino. Fred's best friends and neighbors are Barney and Betty Rubble couple. Barney and Betty Rubble's son Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles are best friends in the Flintstones.
Fred lives in the prehistoric town of Bedrock. His house is a cave just as ancient time people but he uses all the opportunities of the modern times like automobile, telephone. There are some subtle humors about the uses of technology. Fred uses the nose of elephant for taking a shower.
Fred has the talent of playing bowling, pool, poker and golf. He has also singing skill. Fred's one and only bad habit is gambling. His most well-known catchphrase is "Yabba dabba doo" and this catchphrase has it's own dancing figure. You can also remember Fred screaming "WILMA" standing at the door.
If we evaluate the clothes that Fred wears we can see the effects of primitive times. Fred does not wear shoes. His dress, which is orange and black dotted is ragged but you can see that he wears tie just like a modern era people.
At first sight, you will think Fred is an arrogant, rude, aggressive, loud mouthed and scheming but he is also a good husband and a father. His aim is to make his family pleased. You might think that he is anti-social but he has his own way to get along with the people.
